Why did you start the Vanilla Pod Bakery:
In May 2008 whilst at university I entered a business plan competition, my idea, cupcakes...and amazingly I won! This achievement gave me the push I needed to go forth and set the business up.
When did you start baking:
Its hard to say as I think I have always had a passion for it, but I can vividly remember making scones in my parents Aga from the age of about 7.
Future aspirations:
I would absolutely love to have my own Vanilla Pod tea rooms one day
Favorite type of cake:
Umm, that is easy the Classic Victoria sponge, simple, timeless and mouth wateringly tasty.
