Not only do we absolutely love cake, we also love providing a personalised service. When we quote for a wedding cake we try to include everything you could possible want and need. From delicious postal tasting boxes, optional in person design & tasting consultations, initial consultations, catch up consultations, beautiful digital sketches, dessert table elements, edible wedding favours, hand delivery to your venue, expert wedding cake set up and cake stand hire and collection. As well as liaising with your wedding team (venue, wedding planner, florist, etc). We also like to surprise you along the way with a few special touches, but we will leave that as a surprise.

If you would like commission a bespoke Vanilla Pod Bakery wedding cake for your special day. Then we ask you to complete a Save the Date form and pay a non refundable deposit of £350.00. From there you have the choice to either pay the remaining balance in full one month prior to your wedding date. Or with interest-free instalments via our finance partner PayItMonthly.

Yes! We would be delighted to talk to you first. We host cake consultations via telephone or zoom, as well as private in person consultations. We’ll guide you through your wedding cake / dessert table options such as size, shape, flavour, number of portions, decoration and level of detail.

Can we taste your cakes before we book?
Absolutely, you are welcome to order a delicious Tasting Box prior to booking from our website shop here.
The Tasting Boxes are a wonderful experience to have at home with your selves, or friends and family. They are sent direct to your chosen address via Royal Mail.
Do you offer delivery?
We are delighted to offer expert hand delivery and wedding cake set up service to venues and private homes across the Cotswolds, UK and abroad.
Depending on the cake design, the size of cake and the timings on the day, we will organise for either a single Cake Stylist or a team of Cake Stylists to set up and dress the cake on site.
How do we book a Vanilla Pod Bakery wedding cake?
To secure your bespoke Vanilla Pod Bakery wedding cake booking we ask you to complete a Save the Date from and pay a non refundable deposit of £350.00.
The remaining balance is then due in full one month prior to your wedding date. Alternatively, you are welcome to take out an interest-free instalment agreement with our finance partner PayItMonthly.

How early should we book our wedding cake?
We only take on a limited number of Couture Wedding cake orders per year.
Therefore, to avoid disappointment, it is best to Save The Date as soon as you know you would like to commission us for your special day.

Can we travel abroad with Vanilla Pod Bakery wedding cakes?
Yes! We have had a number of couples take our delicious signature fruit cakes abroad over the years.
The cakes can easily travel in hold luggage.
Our couples have taken single tiered fruit cakes from their wedding day in the UK to enjoy at a later date.
We have also had couples from the UK order different size fruit cakes for their weddings abroad.
Fruit cakes have a shelve life of around 3 months to 18 months (depending on how they are stored).
How long as the Vanilla Pod Bakery been trading?
Our Director and Founder, Pia Cato, launched the Vanilla Pod Bakery back when she was 23 in 2009 after winning her University’s business plan competition.
Pia’s original idea was to open a Cupcake Shop and Tearooms but the creation of bespoke celebration and wedding cakes took hold and she is now extremely proud to operate our of a specialist cake studio in Cheltenham with her small highly talented team of passionate cake artists and cake enthusiasts.
